Fiddes Hard Wax Oil is a blend of natural oils & waxes offering exceptional durability & resistance for internal natural wood flooring, kitchen worktops (wood) and areas subjected to a high degree of wear.
Produces a quick drying, natural satin / matt water repellent, tread-fast finish that will not peel or flake. To maintain / renovate, simply wash, buff or re-apply, following the guidelines below.

Resistant to liquids: Tested in accordance with BS 3900 G5

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from any previous finish. Sand the substrate with a fine 150 grade sanding paper or 150 grit sanding disk, removing all traces of dust.
Ensure all areas to be coated are extremely well ventilated during and after application. Always test on a small area prior to initial application. No primer required. Maximum 2 coats recommended. Apply at room temperature. Fiddes Hard Wax Oil is formulated for application directly, and does not require thinning.
Stir contents thoroughly before and during use, and apply in a warm, well ventilated room. Apply THINLY using Fiddes Floor Oil Brush or a good quality bristle or synthetic brush, and lay EVENLY, following the direction of the grain. Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm, dry well ventilated conditions, or preferably overnight.
Apply as first coat, THINLY, allowing good ventilation. Leave to dry 4-6 hours in warm, dry well ventilated conditions, or preferably overnight. Clean applicator with White Spirit. When the surface area is completely dry, a light buff will further enhance the sheen level.
To renovate previous application of Fiddes Hard Wax Oil, lightly sand area with 150 grit sandpaper, and re-apply sparingly.
A single application will cover approximately 215-258 square feet per litre,depending on the density of the substrate.
Retique It - Polyacrylic is formulated to offer excellent results on bare or sealed wood, Retique It Polyacrylic is a water based poly that adds excellent sheen and protection . It is easy to apply and provides a depth of finish that revives and protects any original finish. With Retique It Polyacrylic you can still add furniture wax over it for extra sheen.
Retique It Waterbased Polyurethane
This interior / exterior polyurethane varnish works great for Furniture, Cabinets, Flooring and Countertops!
Polytique It Polyurethane is a water-based, Extremely strong topcoat designed to be a durable final finish for Retique It liquid wood & all wood and painted finishes.
Polytique It goes on with a cloudy white hugh drying to a beautiful clear finish that will not discolor your painted surfaces, even the whitest whites.
Polytique It is a low order, No VOC top coat that can easily be applied indoors. Directions: USE ONLY IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA
Before application, use a lint free cloth to make sure the area to be sealed is free of dust or debris.
Stir Well: Never Shake. Use a good quality brush or sprayer. When spraying, always follow the manufacturer’s setting and thinning recommendations.
Allow to dry 1 to 2 hours under ideal conditions - 70° F / 25% to 50% relative humidity. Cooler temperatures and/or higher humidity may require longer drying times.
Clean up with soap and water.
Retique It - Furniture Wax - Clear Wax
Formulated to offer excellent results on bare or sealed wood, Retique It Furniture Wax Polish contains a unique, blend of waxes that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood. It is easy to apply, and once buffed to the desired sheen level, provides a depth of finish that revives and protects any original finish. Only an oil based wax can give excellent protection quality and feel to painted furniture. Caution: Being that it is oil based you must use this product in a well ventilated area and do not allow long exposure to the fumes while it is being applied or drying. Store in a safe place away from children and flames.
Retique It - Furniture Wax - Dark Wax
Also known as 'antiquing wax', Retique-It Dark Wax is a great way to give that piece an aged look. Apply the clear wax first then dark wax around areas you want to show aging like corners, details and edges. Then use the clear wax as an eraser to remove and blend the excess.
